Notes:
I did not expect it would take me so much time to finish this chapter. Here things start to feel dark. And also, this is probably my first fighting scene; I definitely have room for improvement. And for those of you, who expected to see the fight between Lancer and Saber in its full glory, I apologize in advance - but I saw no reason to write as it happened almost as in canon.

Here it is - the long-awaited first real chapter of the fic! I had planned it to be a little longer - but in the editing process, I might have cut a lot of words out. But at least I managed to get myself in a writing rhythm. Also, the next chapter is a tad shorter, so you can expect a shorter wait!

I know, I know - you don't get to see the summoning yet (nor much of the action), but it's going to happen in the next chapter. And unlike all other long-fics I have, this one is planned from start to finish - so there won't be indefinite hiatuses while I try to work out the plot.
Unfortunately, I cannot promise a consistent update schedule. But if I am taking more than two weeks: you have the full right to ask in the comments. Or in DW.

2nd 5 minutes: what the fuck is this?
3rd 5 minutes: I swear, this is more mold than wall
4th 5 minutes: yuck, yuck, yuck!
5th 5 minutes: I need a shower after this
6th 5 minutes: I won't feel clean even after a beach bath
7th 5 minutes: how illegal is ClF3? (for those, who don't know - burns through everything)
8th 5 minutes: I have no name, no will, I only exist to take the rubbish out
2 hours later: I'm finally alive

Hm, there are far too many people I'd love to meet...

While not exactly my fandoms, I'd be super happy if I met Makoto Shinkai, the director of 'Your Name' and (more-importantly for me) 'Five Centimeters Per Second'.

I'd also like to meet a few of my favorite characters! With Saber from 'Fate/', I would love to talk about her ideals and her view on kingship. (I just hope she's not going to eat me out of my house.)

The first time Miki had hidden in the shadows, away from the school. He hoped he would meet no other there and cry alone.

The second time, they had ventured there, looking for somebody. On the way, they want to shine a light on their identity.
AKA, a story with nonbinary Miki.

Notes:

This is a very personal story. Something I chose to write while navigating through the strange territory of my own gender. While I've tried to keep the characters in characters, perhaps I've let a little too much of me flow over them - especially over Miki. In the end, it became a mixture of my hopes, feelings, and experiences.

Dedicated to all fanfic authors, who write LGBT content. There's no way I'll read all your stories and there's no way all of you will read this story, but I thank you for helping me to realize who I am, one fic at a time.

Utena and Yamada-kun Headcanons

For those, who don't know, "Yamada-kun and the seven witches" is an anime, where seven high school girls obtain a magical power that has to do with kissing... There's also a manga, which I have not read yet. Since it has a mostly comedic tone, I wondered how the powers would work in a tad more serious setting. So here are the powers that the student council, Utena and Anthy are going to get. (I know there are three boys, so let's ignore the rule that witches are girls, OK?)

Arash - the best boyfriend ever. (Yeah, biased) He stays by your side and always reminds you how much he loves you. He will take you on dates very often and for him, nothing is more important than being together often.
Waver - ~~You are not Iskander? Bad luck.~~ He can hole in his room for a long time and worries if you might leave him as he is not that impressive. But if you need him, he will be by your side.
Sasaki - he loves beauty. He will always wax lyrical about you (with varying success). Expect many poems.
Robin - laid-back and sometimes lazy. Don't expect fancy restaurants or grand gifts. But if you like dates in pizza parlors or walks, where you talk about all manner of things - then you've won.
Caesar - ~~Not Cleo? Out of the way~~. Gifts. Lots of them. An expensive piece of clothing catches your eye? Yours. You mention some piece of jewelry you like? He buys it. But he is not purely materialistic; he just pays attention to you and he will care for all your needs.

Summary: The shinigami came at the last hours of life to smoothen the dying. Clavis had a simple job - find Ginti, answer the questions, and help him move on. He never imagined he would have to fight a human. Much less that he would help that human fight against his coming death.
A/N: For those of you, who read my Dreamwidth, this is the story I have promised some time ago. It is inspired by a yaoi manga called "The Visitor", where a shinigami comes to men, who are about to die. I'm sure you can guess where the story goes after that. I tried to strike a balance between hot guys and action, but I'm not sure if I did it right.
